We begin our adventure by picking up passengers from their hotels, then head southeast towards the South Valley of Cusco.
09:15 a.m. – Visit to Tipón Archaeological Complex
This site is renowned for its advanced system of canals and water fountains—a masterpiece of Inca hydraulic engineering. Tipón was likely a ceremonial center dedicated to water and agriculture. Its terraces, walls, and gardens reflect the sophistication of ancient Inca engineers.
10:30 a.m. – Visit to Pikillacta
Considered one of the best examples of pre-Inca urban planning, this vast archaeological site was built by the Wari culture before the rise of the Inca Empire. Its straight streets, stone walls, and symmetrical layout offer a glimpse into life in a thousand-year-old city.
11:30 a.m. – Visit to the Colonial Church of Andahuaylillas
Known as the “Sistine Chapel of the Americas,” this colonial masterpiece is adorned with stunning murals, gold-leafed altars, and hand-painted ceilings. The blend of Andean architecture and European influence is truly captivating.
12:30 p.m. – Return to Cusco
